Get to know more about what makes us different.

At River of Life, certain gatherings throughout the month carry special spiritual emphasis. These sacred moments help us celebrate milestones, remember Christ’s sacrifice, strengthen families, seek God in prayer, and stay engaged in His mission.

Whether it is your first visit or you have been part of our church family for years, we come together to encounter God in ways that are welcoming, meaningful, and centered on Christ.
First Sunday
Mission Generosity
We begin each month looking outward. Mission Sunday highlights our call to serve both our local community and the nations. As Jesus teaches, “For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink… I was naked and you clothed Me” (Matthew 25:35–36).

He commissions us to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). We give to missions, pray for outreach efforts, and step boldly into sharing the love of Christ both near and far.
This Sunday centers on renewal and remembrance. We celebrate “Made New” baptisms as powerful testimonies of new life in Christ, “buried with Him through baptism into death… raised to walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).
Third Sunday
Dedications and Birthday Celebrations
A joyful Sunday of blessing and celebration as families dedicate their children to the Lord and the church commits to support them in prayer and encouragement, following Hannah’s example: “For this child I prayed… therefore I have lent him to the Lord” (1 Samuel 1:27–28).

We also celebrate birthdays, giving thanks to God for the gift of life, remembering that “every good and perfect gift is from above” (James 1:17), and honoring the individuals who make up our church family.
Fourth Sunday: Communion
This Do In Remembrance of Me
The Lord's Supper is a central, foundational act of worship in Christianity that commemorates the final meal Jesus shared with his disciples, known as the Last Supper.
It is a symbolic act of receiving the body and blood of Christ through the elements of bread and wine. Communion is a sacred reminder of His sacrifice and grace, just as He said, “Do this in remembrance of Me” (Luke 22:19).
First Wednesday Night
All Church Prayer
On the first Wednesday evening of each month, we gather as one body to seek God together in prayer. This dedicated time allows us to intercede for our church, lift up our community, pray for our nation, and bring world events before the Lord, trusting His sovereignty and aligning our hearts with His will.

These sacred moments create a rhythm of prayer, worship, mission, commitment, and celebration that keeps our hearts aligned with God’s purpose. When you join us, you are not simply attending a gathering. You are stepping into a shared journey of faith, renewal, and community as we grow together in Christ.
